The Global 100 Index, now in its 20th year, meticulously evaluates and ranks the largest publicly traded companies globally based on their impact on both people and the environment. This year’s assessment involved 6,733 companies with revenues exceeding US$1 billion.
Nordea, aiming to become a bank with net-zero emissions by 2050, has set an interim target to reduce carbon emissions in its investment and lending portfolios by 40-50% by the year 2030. They are also committed to cutting internal carbon emissions by over 50%.
