Nordea Ranks Among the World’s Top 100 Most Sustainable Companies

Our highly valued business partner, Nordea, has once again secured their position as one of the world’s 100 most sustainable companies, according to the latest Global 100 Index by Corporate Knights. Ranked at 83, Nordea also stands tall among the top six most sustainable banks globally.

The Global 100 Index, now in its 20th year, meticulously evaluates and ranks the largest publicly traded companies globally based on their impact on both people and the environment. This year’s assessment involved 6,733 companies with revenues exceeding US$1 billion.

Nordea, aiming to become a bank with net-zero emissions by 2050, has set an interim target to reduce carbon emissions in its investment and lending portfolios by 40-50% by the year 2030. They are also committed to cutting internal carbon emissions by over 50%.
