It has been claimed by some media that job applications on e-mail violates the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is not true.
The Danish Data Protection Authorities (DPA) has publicly announced that job applications on e-mail is okay. Job applications does not violate the new GDPR, as long as they do not contain confidential information, in which they rarely do. And of course, once job applications are received, they should always be handled responsibly.
